Creativity

Make room for what wants to be expressed.

For many of us, creativity isn't optional. It's how we experience and process the world. Creative Introspection offers gentle, supportive spaces to write, make, reflect, and keep your creative practice going.

Ways to create together

  • Writing Circle

A free weekly hour to write together, share if you want to, and keep your practice going. All writers welcome, whatever you're working on.

  • Writing workshops

Deeper dives into craft and the creative process. Dates coming soon.

  • Books & handmade pieces

Reflective stories from our independent imprint, plus hand-painted bookmarks and journals to carry the practice into your week.

When creating stirs things up

Writing or making art often brings things to the surface: old memories, grief, difficult emotions, even past trauma, and parts of ourselves we haven't looked at in a while. That isn't a sign you're doing it wrong. Often it's a sign the work is real.

It does call for gentleness. Creative Introspection is built around that: pacing yourself, knowing when to pause, and having ways to come back to steady ground when a piece gets heavy.

What that looks like here

  • Grounding and breath practices to use before, during, or after creating

  • Prompts that let you choose how deep to go

  • Sharing is always optional, and passing is always welcome

  • Time to notice what came up and care for yourself afterward

Creativity has always been how I express, process, and understand myself and the world. I bring that same care into every gathering. – Kristina

A gentle note

Creative Introspection is a space for creative expression and reflection, not therapy or mental health treatment. If your writing brings up more than you can hold, please reach out to a therapist or someone you trust. If you're in crisis in the U.S., you can call or text 988.
