About
Kristina Bautista, founder of Creative Introspection, LLC, has an MFA in Creative Writing and a professional background in instructional design and editing. She’s a self-trained artist and a parent who understands how hard it can be to balance work, life, and the pull of creative projects.
“I started Creative Introspection because for me and for many others, creativity isn’t optional—it’s how we experience and process the world.
Sometimes what I’m feeling comes out as poems, drawings, or stories. I’m always reflecting on my creative process too—how some books or projects are only meant to be written and read by me, and how others take decades to finish but are worth the perseverance to continue, and the vulnerability of sharing.
Introspective and healing practices and ongoing learning feed back into the work, helping it shift, deepen, and eventually reach a point where it feels complete. This is my way of honoring that whole loop and inviting other people into it.”
Upcoming Events
-
Write & Chat
Monthly - Saturdays, 11-12PM EST
A low-pressure space to talk with writers and write together. Choose from a provided writing prompt or work on your own project. We set a timer for 20 minutes and write. Pressured writing helps us limit our inner critic.
-
Creative Writing Workshop
Quarterly - Time TBD
A few times a year, we gather a small group of writers to share pages, offer feedback, and reflect together.
Submit your work and when you’re generally available, and you’ll be the first to know when the next cycle comes together.
